Our judges are Janet Hornung and Jason Whiting. We can accept tests up to and including Gold level tests.

Test fees will include the usual $10/test, $20 club, and $5 ice rental fee. We will also be collecting partner fees on behalf of Nolan Mudrewich ($15/dance). Please contact Nolan directly should you require partnering – he can be reached at mudrewich@sasktel.net.

Test lists can be submitted via email to this address – carlylefsc@sasktel.net. Please submit your initial test list by Friday, Dec 16th. Final pulls are due on Friday, Dec 23rd.

All clubs are responsible for filling out their own test sheets. These must be mailed to Carlyle FSC, Box 95, CARLYLE, SK. S0C 0R0. Alternately they can be faxed to 453-2072. Please be sure to post your test sheets Dec 23rd at the latest, as we may encounter postal delays due to the holiday season. Thanks.

January 6th is a school day, so we will do our best to not start until after lunch. Nolan can’t start partnering until 5:30, so the higher dances will not be tested until that time.

Who is this Seminar designed for?

 This Seminar is designed for Dancers who are working on their Senior

Bronze Level and higher.  It is also designed for parents and coaches. 

This will be a Positive and Unique look at what is expected from the Skater’s

when they hit the Ice to take a Dance test.  Each of the Three perspectives

(evaluator, coach, and partner) will be discussed during this Seminar.

We will be adding a new format this year, where each skater will receive

a brief individual session with Nolan.

What you need to bring to the Seminar!

-Skates    -Clothing for on-ice. (dress warm)   -A smile!

First off, I would like to send a HUGE thank-you to Madeleine Valentine for looking after our Region for the past few years. You did a fantastic job of keeping us all well-informed and thank-you, especially, for setting up this blog! A great tool for communication!

Secondly, I’d like to introduce myself….my name is Tanya Johnston from Moosomin and I am the new Region 1 Coordinator.  I am the President of the Moosomin Skating Club. My daughter is 10yrs old and skates competitively. Since I never skated as a child, I have no experience with the skating world! So…what better way to learn than to get involved~at least that’s what I keep telling myself ;o)

Please bear with me as I learn the ropes, and don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or concerns at anytime!
