Hello Region 1 Clubs & Coaches!
As our skating season meets its half-way point, I have a few things for you to take note of:
If any of you still want to sell the Skaters’ Lottery tickets, contact Danielle at 780-9245…there are still some tickets left. The club who sells the most tickets wins $5000!
The Skating Awards info was sent out over the last few weeks. The deadline for nominations is February 1st…don’t forget to take the time to nominate your skaters, coaches, & volunteers! Some clubs have mentioned that it is costly to send the award recipients to the AGM. While the recipients do not have to attend the AGM to receive their award, they will be recognized at the event.
Skate Canada Saskatchewan is looking for Board Members! If you are interested in becoming a part of the Board at a Provincial level…please let me know!
As the Carnival season approaches, don’t forget to sanction your event! Sanction forms are available online at the Skate Canada Saskatchewan website.
Midale has accepted the job of hosting the 2012/13 Region 1 Competition! Next on the list for the 2013/14 season is Estevan, then Kipling, Kennedy, and Alameda. We will discuss this in more detail at a later date.
I hope the remainder of your season goes well…before we know it, it will be time for our Spring Regional Meeting!
